Egyptian
visual and mosaic design artist, Marcelle Rizk, graduated with a Bachelor of Fine
Art (B.F.A) from the College of Fine & Applied Art, Cairo University
in 1971. She came to the United States a year later and attended
New Jersey City State College where she studied Fabric & Illustration
Design. Marcelle continued her education in flower arrangement when
she discovered her true passion for a variety of painting, creating custom mosaic artwork, and stained
glass art. |
Her
well rounded creative career in mosaic art began with natural stone
and marble smalti during her education in Egypt. Marcelle learned
the essential skills of classical mosaic art over the years as she
designed several religious icons for many churches in Egypt and
here in the United States. Her vast experience in different avenues
of art have enabled her with the ability to custom design interior
and exterior mosaic artwork that has been commissioned by churches, businesses,
schools, and government facilities. Marcelle specializes in religious
icons, murals, portraits, accessories, decor, and custom mosaic
art installations. Feel free to view her vast mosaic art collection and request the reproduction of any unavailable mosaic artwork. |
